The Wisconsin Future Problem
Solving Program was begun by Bill Hartje and Marilyn Bendiksen
in 1981. Over 1,000 students across Wisconsin participate in competitive
and non-competitive FPS teams, community problem solving, and
scenario writing. Each year our top performers attend the FPS
International Conference, along with students from all over the
United States,
Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, and Great Britain. Over the years
Wisconsin has earned top honors in many areas at the International
level
